REDWELL emerged as the victors in the annual Clackmannanshire Primary Schools Sports Association (CPSSA) Athletics Championship.
A total of 587 primary six and seven pupils from across the Wee County took part in the competition, which featured a range of events.
Pupils competed in the 100m, 200m, 800m, 4x100m, relay, high jump, long jump, shot put and turbo javelin.
The day attracted a record number of pupils from Clackmannanshire in the history of the tournament.
Points were accumulated for the top six placed pupils in each event, with the overall best school being Redwell Primary and runners up prize going to Craigbank Primary.
The overall best small school award went to St Bernadette’s Primary.
Individual accolades were given to Annabelle Corbett from Redwell, who secured best overall performer for equalling the record in the P7 girls high jump.
A spokesperson from Clackmannanshire Council said: “The council’s sport and leisure team would like to congratulate all the pupils, staff and students who made this fantastic day of athletics.
“Thanks to Jamie McDonald from Scottish Autism for attending this event, University of Stirling PE students for supporting staff at the event and all the volunteers who helped make the event such a success.”
