A BUDDING Clacks artist is set to showcase her work at a degree and diploma show opening later this week.

Third year BA art and design student Kathrine Graham, from Dollar, will be one of those showcasing their talents at Forth Valley College’s degree and diploma art exhibition as it opens to the public on Friday.

Pictured with her work entitled Organised Chaos, the Wee County 19-year-old will be putting on display a framed textile design where the strands show where life can lead.

The degree and diploma show, which will be held at the college’s Stirling campus, will be a chance for members of the public to check out the next generation of artists finishing at the creative industries department.

Kenny MacInnes, principal of Forth Valley College, said: “As always, I am really looking forward to this year’s end of year show as it is one of the college’s highlights of the year.

“It is a fantastic opportunity for our students to showcase their work, which they have been creating over the last year and I encourage as many people as possible to come along and see for themselves the talent that Forth Valley College has developed a reputation for producing in this area.”

A wide range of media including art, design, photography, sculpture, installation as well as video and audio will be on display.
