THE final design for the Clackmannan pump track has now been revealed.
As reported by the Advertiser, the design was set to be revealed at a meeting at the Church Hall on Thursday, May 16.
Now, the design has been revealed by the Clackmannan Development Trust and promises to be a state-of-the-art track.
A post published on the CDT Facebook page said: “The aim of this is to provide a high quality recreational space for our young folk to have fun and learn new skills.
“The design includes a jump track which very few other pump tracks do.”
Funding for the pump track was provided by sportscotland and Clackmannanshire Council, with an estimated date for the end of June pencilled in.
The Clackmannan pump track is expected to be built in the King George V park, near Clackmannan Primary School.
Peter Goodsir, CDT chair, added: “This is a fantastic resource for the local kids and we are delighted the council selected Clackmannan to be the first place to get this opportunity.
“We have been campaigning for a long time and it is great to see it happen through sportscotland with direct government funding.”
