THE site of a former bank in Alva is set to be converted into flats, should a planning application be approved.
An application has been submitted to Clackmannanshire Council’s planning department for the former Bank of Scotland site, located on 148 West Stirling Street in Alva, to be transformed into new homes.
The site, which has lain dormant since the bank vacated the premises in 2017, will be turned into flats facing out on to West Stirling Street, the main road through Alva.
A site plan and proposed changes have been submitted to the council’s planning department, which are set to be reviewed in due course.
