A NEW book charting pictures and people from Alloa Athletic’s long history has been released.
Written by John Glencross and Stuart Latham, Alloa Will Always Be Alloa is the follow up to John’s previous books A History of Alloa Athletic and Diary of a Season.
The Alloa historian has filled this book with plenty of snippets about people associated with the club through the years and features never before seen pictures.
Speaking to the Advertiser, John said: “Stuart Latham and I have once again teamed up to write our third book on Alloa Athletic FC, called Alloa Will Always Be Alloa.
“The book on this occasion has been produced as a hard back and is currently on sale for £20 at The Alloa Athletic Football Memorabilia Exhibition which is open at Glasstown House, Castle Street, Alloa.
“The book has over 360 pages of interesting snippets on people past and present at the club with plenty never before seen pictures over the years.
“Orders can be placed directly by emailing myself at jgxalloafc@aol.com or by contacting me on 07877 530314.”
As previously reported by the Advertiser, John has recently opened his memorabilia exhibition at a unit in Glasstown House.
This exhibition is a must see for any passing Alloa fan, featuring programmes, signed shirts, match balls, team photos and recorded games.
John previously told the Advertiser this was a “dream come true” and hoped to welcome as many fans as possible to his exhibition.
