Gartmorn Dam in Clackmannanshire will be changing its closing time from next week.
The artificial freshwater loch is a popular walking route with many, but its gates will be closing at 9pm from Friday, April 19. This will be when all vehicles must have left the vicinity.

The gatekeeper will try to make sure that everybody in vehicles has left the reserves before closing the gate. However, if the gatekeeper can’t locate a vehicle’s owner, they will leave a note with emergency contact details, and notify the Police and the council’s out of hours emergency team.
The council may then charge a call out fee to open up the gates after hours.
The closing time for vehicles will then change again on Sunday, April 28, when it will be 9.30pm.
