AN ALVA composer is set to release a new track on the back of signing a publishing deal with a record label.
Following a successful appeal by the Advertiser, Paul Jelfs has partnered with experienced composer Gerard Gourley, based in Dunblane.
Gourlay has extensive experience in gaming and has previously collaborated with Codemasters, Domark and Blitz Games, which Paul insisted intrigued him.
“Teaming up with Gerard has reignited my creative spark,” Paul said. “We are united in our commitment to pushing creative boundaries.
“We are primed to deliver unforgettable musical experiences, which resonate deeply with audience worldwide.”
The two composers hope to complement each other’s musical styles, with Gourlay’s expertise in immersive soundscapes going hand in hand with Paul’s innovative composition style.
Together, they aim to launch a YouTube channel to showcase compositions, including Paul’s recent piano tracks.
Gourlay added: “Teaming up with Paul has reignited my composing passion – it’s an exciting return to music.”
In addition to partnering with Gourlay, Paul will also release his instrumental track Rainy Memories through Mpath Music.
Rainy Memories will form part of an album of compositions composed solely by disabled composers working through Able Artists.
This publishing deal will potentially allow the partnership to reach some of the biggest medica companies globally.
Rainy Memories will be released internationally and will be available at apmmusic.com.
