A RESTAURANT at a Kincardine golf club has been shortlisted for an award after weathering the storms of Covid-19.
The Puttery at Tulliallan Golf Club is one of the finalists on the 7th Scottish Hospitality Awards 2024.
Up for the award in the golf club category, the restaurant will find out whether it can bring the accolade home at a black tie ceremony take place in Glasgow later on April 22.
Karen Brown, franchisee of The Puttery Restaurant, started the business in November 2019 within the golf club.
Despite uncertain times brought on by the pandemic, she explained she managed to continue building her business, setting up outdoor areas where members an visitors alike could visit for food and drinks whilst still enjoying their game of golf.
The restaurant also provided takeaway meals and afternoon teas as it cemented its strong reputation in the Kincardine community and surrounding area.
She said: “We are all delighted at Tulliallan Golf Club to be associated with such a prestigious award and would like to thank our members and customers for their ongoing loyalty as we do our utmost best to serve them.”
Run by Creative Oceanic powered by Oceanic Awards, the awards night will aim to highlight excellence in Scotland’s vibrant hospitality industry.
The event at Glasgow's DoubleTree by Hilton will celebrate the very best in hotels, restaurants, bars, spas and other industry sectors.
