English rock band Inspiral Carpets are coming to Alloa Town Hall this summer.
The band, which were part of the 'Madchester' rock movement in the late 1980s and early 1990s, will be performing in the Wee County in August.
The band was formed in Oldham in 1983 and still perform across the country. Their best known hits include This Is How It Feels, She Comes In The Fall, and Dragging Me Down.

They’re known for using organs and distorted guitars and are influenced by the psychedelic rock genre. The band had been inactive since drummer Craig Gill's death in 2016, but they announced in 2022 that they would be reforming and going on a UK tour in March and April of 2023.
Current band members include Graham Lambert, Stephen Holt, Clint Boon, Kev Clark, and Oscar Boon.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 1, for the gig on Saturday, August 10 at 7pm. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult on the night.
