SHANIA TWAIN has been announced as the third artist to be headlining Stirling Summer Sessions this year.
The Grammy award-winning singer will take to the stage at Stirling City Park on Tuesday, July 2 alongside her special guest Rag’n’Bone Man.
Twain is the third artist to be announced for the inaugural Stirling Summer Sessions, joining the likes of Busted and Tom Jones at the festival, set to take place from the end of June through to the start of July.
She entertained sold out crowds on the Queen of Me tour last year and is now set to take on another global tour, with Stirling ready to welcome the best-selling female artist in country music.
Her special guest Rag’n’Bone Man, real name Rory Graham, rose to prominence in 2016, with his blend of traditional blues and hip hop.
He now has three Brit Awards to his name, an Ivor Novello Award and will join Shania Twain on stage on July 2.
A statement from DF Concerts read: “As a small city with a big history which is celebrating its 900th anniversary in 2024, Stirling is known for the attraction of its historic Castle which will form the stunning backdrop of the Stirling Summer Sessions stage at Stirling City Park.
“Stirling as a strong track record of successfully hosting major events and big crowds, and the city’s central location provides excellent transport links, being within an hour’s travel time for 50 per cent of Scotland’s population.”
Tickets go on sale on Friday, February 16 at 9am.
