A 35-year-old man has been put back on a ‘tag’ for abusive behaviour towards his partner in Clackmannan and elsewhere.
Martyn Walsh, of Main Street, Bainsford, appeared for sentencing at Alloa Sheriff Court after breaching a restriction of liberty order.
He had admitted that between August 20 and 21, 2022, at the Station Hotel, Larbert, the Clackmannanshire Bridge and an address in Clackmannan, he engaged in an abusive course of conduct.
On the Clackmannanshire Bridge he made offensive comments towards his partner, pulled the rear-view mirror off its mounting and punched the windscreen, damaging it.
At the Station Hotel, he made offensive comments and punched a vehicle.
Sheriff Neil Bowie noted that after Walsh had been put on a restriction of liberty order he “cut the tag off and then got back in touch a week later to say he would comply”.
He added: “Having re-engaged he then missed another period.”
Sheriff Bowie imposed a new 30-day restriction of liberty order.
