A Clackmannan man became involved a fight with his partner, which ended in her being injured and him being bitten.
David Scally, 45, of Zetland Street, appeared for sentencing at Alloa Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on October 7 at his home he acted aggressively towards his partner and engaged in a struggle with her, resulting in her being injured.
The court was told Scally had suffered bites to his body during the struggle.
Sheriff Neil Bowie pointed out that Scally had made his first appearance in court for a similar matter a year previously and had been admonished as it was treated as a “one-off”.
On this occasion, the sheriff imposed a community payback order with 80 hours of unpaid work and nine months of supervision.
