POLICE have launched an appeal for witnesses following a crash which claimed the life of a 48-year-old man in Cambus.
A three-vehicle road crash occurred on the A907, Alloa Road at Park Terrace at around midnight on Sunday, January 7, 2024.
As reported by the Advertiser, the collision involved a Citroen C1, a Ford Fiesta and Audi A4, with the rear seat passenger of the C1 pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of Citreon C1 and front seat passenger, both adult women, were taken by ambulance to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
The passenger’s condition is described as critical, while the driver has since been discharged by hospital.
A 32-year-old woman, the driver of the Ford Fiesta, was arrested following the incident and has been released pending further enquiry.
The occupants of the Audi A4 were not injured.
Sergeant Scott Kirkpatrick, of the Roads Policing Unit, Forth Valley, said: “If you witnessed the crash or may have been dashcam footage that may assist our investigation, then please call officers via 101 quoting incident number 0003 of Sunday, January, 2023.”
