AN ALLOA pub will be hosting a seven day celebration of the life and poetry of Robert Burns as part of their annual Burns Week.
The Bobbing John, on Drysdale Street, will be revamping its menu to offer haggis, neeps and tatties, as well as the Caledonian Burger to mark the occasion. They'll be on offer from Monday, January 22 to Sunday, January 28.
The pub will also be offering a range of Scottish drinks for customers, including Nessie’s Monster Mash from Cairngorm Brewery, two single malt whiskies Glenmorangie and Glenfiddich as well as The Famous Grouse and Bell’s whisky.
And there will be a selection of BrewDog beers - Elvis Juice and Hazy Jane – as well as Scottish gins Hendrick’s and Edinburgh Gin Rhubarb and Ginger.
Sarah Hill, manager for The Bobbing John, said: “The seven-day celebration is a great opportunity for our customers to enjoy some traditional Scottish food and drink and to celebrate for longer than just January 25.”
