AN ALLOA pub will be slashing its prices to celebrate the new year.
The Bobbing John, on Drysdale Street, will be reducing the cost of a wide range of drinks and meals for a period of two weeks from Wednesday, January 3.
This will cover draught beers and ciders, spirits, classic cocktails, hard seltzers and a range of soft drinks as well as teas and hot chocolate.
Non-alcoholic drinkers will also be accommodated in the sale, with a selection of alcohol free beers and ciders included as well.
As for food, a small breakfast will be cut to just £1.99 while a selection of burgers will also be slashed.
Pub manager Sarah Hill said: “Department stores and shops hold their sales in January so it is the perfect time to have a sale in the pub too.
“The range of drinks and food on sale in the pub is aimed at suiting a wide variety of tastes. This year, we have included our biggest selection of low and non-alcoholic drinks.
“I believe that the January sale will prove popular with our customers. As always, staff at the pub will serve customers responsibly.”
