A BRAND new Indian restaurant had its grand opening in Alloa.
Jaadoo, located on 6 Mill Road in the town, held an opening launch event on Friday, December 8 to officially welcome guests to their restaurant.
Replacing Mr Singh’s, which closed in November, Jaadoo opened to huge success on opening day, with the restaurant packed with patrons.
Maneesh Appukkuttan Shyla, one of the directors of Jaadoo, spoke with the Advertiser to report a very successful launch day.
“It was very good,” Maneesh said. “It was so busy and we had two MPs come down to cut the ribbon and open us.
“After that, we held lunch and the restaurant was about half full but then by dinner time we were very busy.
“Because it was so busy, we had to turn off our orders for Just Eat because we just couldn’t manage the amount of orders coming in at once.
“A big thank you to everyone visiting us today for our grand opening and a special thanks to John McNally, Martyn Day and Nidhin Chand for their support.
“We’re proud to have established our new business in the wonderful town of Alloa. Everything went very well.”
The launch event was attended by John McNally and Martyn Day, two SNP MPs for the Falkirk and Linlithgow and East Falkirk constituencies respectively.
They were on hand to cut the ribbon, officially opening Jaadoo’s for business in Alloa.
Anyone interested in visiting Jaadoo’s can find them on Mill Road, on Just Eat or online at jadoo.co.uk.
