A Sauchie man has avoided being sent back to prison for an offence committed when he was in HMP Glenochil.
Jamie Hillhouse, 26, of Pearson View, appeared for sentencing at Alloa Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on March 17 at HMP Glenochil prison, he was in possession of an unauthorised SIM card.
Defence solicitor Kelly Howe said: “He’s remorseful for it. He can’t escape from his record of previous convictions.”
However, Sheriff Neil Bowie decided against another jail term.
Instead, he imposed a community payback order with one year of supervision and a six-month restriction of liberty order.
