A group of dancers have raised £120 for charity by doing a tapathon.
Alloa Ballet Company took part in the national event in aid of Children in Need. The tapathon was held across the country on Sunday, November 19.
Everyone who was taking part in the fundraiser had the same dance routine to learn.
Heather Shrimpton, principal at Alloa Ballet Company, said: “The routine is the same one that everyone in the UK does.
"We were sent the videos and then we taught the routine to our tappers. On the day, we had a countdown, and all started tapping at 1pm.

“We had an incredible time, we had our youngest dancers as well as our adult tappers. Some parents joined in with their children. It was a great atmosphere, and we are already planning for next year.”
This was the first time that Alloa Ballet Company had participated in the tapathon for Children in Need.
Heather added: “It is a national event and we thought it would be great to get involved with our tap classes and raise money for Children in Need.”
