A 49-year-old driver was swerving about the road before hitting an oncoming vehicle when she was five times over the drink-drive limit.
The crash took place at around 10am on the A91 between Tillicoultry and Menstrie and left both vehicles badly damaged.
Drink-driver Carla Shepherd, of Kilbryde Crescent, Dunblane, appeared for sentencing at Alloa Sheriff Court.
She admitted that on June 22 she drove a car dangerously, lost control of it, repeatedly swerved across the road into the opposite carriageway into the path of oncoming vehicles and collided with a vehicle.
She also admitted driving having consumed excess alcohol. Her reading was 335 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of urine, the limit being 67 milligrammes.
Sheriff Garry Sutherland banned Shepherd from driving for two years and until she passes the extended test.
He also imposed a community payback order with 12 months of supervision and a four-month restriction of liberty order.
