PUPILS at an Alloa primary school had the opportunity to take part in a workshop on financial well-being.
Staff from the nearby Yorkshire Building Society Alloa branch visited Redwell PS to deliver the talks as part of UK Savings Week.
The Money Minds lesson was an age-appropriate seminar to help kids better understand how to budget, save and spend wisely.
David Montgomery, branch manager at Alloa’s Yorkshire Building Society, said: “UK Savings Week is all about helping everyone develop and build financial resilience.
“Understanding how to budget and save are vital life skills, so helping the next generation of savers and spenders understand more about managing their money is a real privilege.
“It was great to see how much the children not only learned during the session, but how much fun they had in doing so too.”
Money Minds is a program designed by YBS that consists of a series of activities and projects to promote discussion among children and young people.
