A MAN had to be taken to hospital following a collision near the Clackmannanshire Bridge this morning (Tuesday).
Police, fire and ambulance services were all called to the scene of the one-car crash shortly before 8.30am.
A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed one person was taken to hospital for treatment and recovery of the vehicle was arranged.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) were involved supporting the ambulance service in the assisting the injured man.
An SFRS spokesperson said: “Operations Control mobilised two appliances to the scene and one male casualty was passed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
“Crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe.”
The Scottish Ambulance Service added: “We received a call to attend a collision on the Clackmannanshire Bridge.
“We dispatched one ambulance and transported one patient to New Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.”
