AN APPEAL has been launched to help trace a cat missing for almost two months.
Lisa Ferris is asking members of the public to keep an eye out for her cat Millie, who was reported missing from a family member's home in Tillicoultry.
Lisa moved the cats from their home in Tullibody after a fire which tore through their roof at the start of June.
The cat was secured following the fire but accidentally got loose a couple weeks after the incident, with family growing concerned for her absence.
Speaking to the Advertiser Lisa said: “After the fire, we managed to get Millie and we took her down to my sister’s house in Tillicoultry.
“She got out of my sister’s house and is now roaming about Tillicoultry, a village she doesn’t know, for a number of weeks now.
“We can’t seem to get her back at all.”
Lisa explained that Millie does not like to be picked up by people she doesn’t know and will not approach strangers.
She will answer the call of her name, however, and Lisa is urging anyone who sees Millie to give her a call.
Lisa added: “We were hoping that if somebody noticed her hanging about, they could call me so we could come and get her.
“We’re looking to do everything we can and we’re so grateful for everyone’s help.”
Anyone who thinks they have seen Millie can contact Lisa on 07949 547579.
