A COALSNAUGHTON man arrested by police had a knife hidden in his sock.
As result, Logan Gardner, 20, of School Terrace, appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court for sentencing last Thursday, July 27.
He admitted that on June 27, at School Terrace, he was unlawfully in possession of a knife.
Depute fiscal Sarah Smith said police had received a report around midnight over concerns about Gardner's wellbeing.
When officers arrived, he was behaving erratically and was put in handcuffs. He then told police he had a knife and it was found in his sock.
It was a kitchen knife with an eight-inch blade.
Sheriff Neil Bowie imposed a community payback order with one year's supervision.
