A NUMBER of talks are set to take place at Alloa's Speirs Centre in the coming weeks.
The library will play host to a variety of talks during May and June, all free and taking place on the mezzanine level.
Coming up this Friday, May 19, will be a talk about Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance, which operates two Eurocopter EC135 T2i helicopters and two rapid response vehicles.
People can head along from 10.30am to 11.30am on the day to find out more.
Then on Tuesday, May 23, Alloa's Linda McLeod, chair of Breathe Easy Clackmannanshire since 2010, will be giving a talk from 2pm to 3pm.
Entitled My Journey, the talk will chart her involvement with the community group from the beginning to the now.
Kev Mitchell from Ochils Mountain Rescue Team and Scottish Mountain Resuce will be next up on Monday, June 12, from 10.30am to 11.30am.
Gathering the Voices, a small community-based charity preserving stories of holocaust refugees, will be the subject of a talk on Monday, June 19, from 2pm to 3pm.
