FORTH Valley Police have asked dog owners to con[1]tinue to take care when walking their dogs in the countryside, with lambing season well underway.
During the season, it is common to see many young lambs or pregnant sheep.
Loose dogs approaching the sheep can lead to injury, miscarriage or even death - with the dog owner being responsible.
Dog owners found guilty of attacks can be fined up to £40,000 or face 12 months in prison. Visit Scotland.police.uk for more info.
