A TEENAGER has been fined for sending threatening messages to his former partner.
Reece Russell, 18, of Douglas Avenue, Falkirk, appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court for sentencing last Thursday, April 13.
He previously admitted that on October 1, at Hawthorne Avenue, Coalsnaughton, he sent messages to his former partner, in which he made threats of violence and derogatory remarks.
Sentence had been deferred on Russell for good behaviour but he failed to stay out of the trouble, committing offences in the Glasgow area.
Fining Russell £640, Sheriff Neil Bowie added: “These were unpleasant and threatening comments made to your former partner.
“Sentence had been deferred to see if this was a one-off offence but clearly it was not.”
