DOLLAR ACADEMY was voted School of the Year at this year's Tennis Scotland awards.
The Clacks school was recognised due to their co-curricular tennis routes available to pupils from P4 upwards.
Tennis is a prioritised sport at Dollar, with the private school boasting nine outside courts and has competed in all available schools cup for boys and girls in the past year alone.
Alongside the main award, Charlie Robertson won Junior of the Year at the ceremony, held at Stirling Court Hotel on Friday, March 31.
The fifth year pupil is part of the Great Britain National Tennis Academy in Stirling and won his first International Tennis Federation title alongside one other junior title in 2022, with the star already sitting at number 67 in the World Junior rankings.
Steve Newton, head of PE and the tennis programme at Dollar, said: “We are delighted that both Charlie and the school itself have been recognised at these awards.
“Tennis is a very popular sport at Dollar, with a large number of boys and girls playing each year at a grassroots level right through to our elite players like Charlie.
“Our aim is to enthuse as many pupils as possible to play the game and to help them improve at every level.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the large number of staff from both PE and across the school who support tennis at Dollar."
Dollar picked up Charlie’s award on his behalf as he was competing at the time of the ceremony.
