A VACCINATION bus is touring the Wee County this week to ensure those eligible are protected against flu and Covid-19.
No appointments will be needed as the bus plans stops in Menstrie, Tullibody and Tillicoultry over the next three days for winter vaccines, having visited Alloa as the Advertiser went to print.
The vaccination bus will be at Dumyat Community Centre in Menstrie on Wednesday, March 22, followed by Tullibody Civic Centre on Thursday.
Available between 9am and 3pm on all days with no appointments needed, the bus will finish the week by stopping outside Tillicoultry Parish Church on Friday.
Covid booster and flu vaccinations are available to anyone over the age of 50, pregnant women, those at a high risk due to a health condition or weakened immune system and their households, carers paid or unpaid as well as health and social care staff.
While the bus is touring the Wee County, drop-in clinics continue to be available at Clackmannanshire Community Healthcare Centre.
Again with no appointments needed, the clinic is open each day, including weekends, from 8.30am to 7pm until at least March 31.
