A MAN has been arrested for being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs after being pulled over by police in Tullibody.
The 25-year-old was known to the police and was stopped by members of Alloa's Community Policing Team.
Cash amounting to £3,780 was recovered from the vehicle alongside £3,030 worth of Class A drugs.
The man was arrested and charged and his home was subsequently searched.
Sergeant Ally Goldie said: "This is another example of our officers patrolling the streets to keep people safe.
"This proactive stop recovered thousands of pounds in cash which clearly resulted from the proceeds of crime, along with thousands of pounds of Class A controlled drugs destined for the streets of Clackmannanshire.
"Financially benefitting from the suffering of others will not be tolerated in our community - those responsible will be robustly targeted by my team."
