RESIDENTS are being urged to make sure they are registered to vote in time for the local government by-election, to be held on March 16.
The election is taking place to allow voters to have their say on who will represent them following the death of Councillor Graham Houston, who passed away in December 2022.
Anyone living in the Dunblane and Bridge of Allan ward (Ward 3) who will be 16 or over on March 16 can take part.
Registration for the election closes at midnight on Tuesday, February 28.
If you were registered to vote in the last election and your details have not changed, you don’t need to take any action. A poll card will arrive before the election with information on how to vote.
Visit www.gov.uk/register-to-vote to register online.
