BUSINESSES in Alloa are being encouraged to get involved with Clackmannanshire's Whisky Festival 2023.
The event will go ahead for a second time at Alloa Town Hall on March 31 and April 1 and Alloa First, the town's business improvement district organisation, is once again the headline sponsor.
Following last year's success, the festival will stand on three legs of whisky, heritage as well as mental health and wellbeing.
Tickets for the festival went on sale earlier in December and following the sponsorship announcement, Alloa First is encouraging businesses in the town to get involved.
With marketing and promotional opportunities, shopkeepers and businesses could contribute to visitor goodie bags with branded items, loyalty or discount cards or taster treats.
Shops are also being encouraged to decorate their windows at the time in the themes of the festival or run a competition with festival tickets offered as a prize.
The Neil's Hugs Foundation will once again be the festival charity partner and shopkeepers could also hold their own fundraisers for the good cause.
Businesses can contact diane@alloafirst.co.uk for more details and ideas.
