YOUNG talent from an Alloa performing arts school are this January set to put on their first pantomime in two years.
Forefront Stage School will be bringing a production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to Alloa Town Hall with tickets selling fast.
School principal Amber Clark and the young people will be putting on a string of shows from Friday, January 6, which will be a relaxed performance, tailored for inclusivity.
Amber said: "We're starting off on Friday with a relaxed performance which has proven to be very popular and something I think we'll be doing more of in the future.
"I understand that the typical show setting isn't for everyone and if we can tailor our performance to be more inclusive to a wider range of people then it feels like a great thing to be doing thanks to Scottish Autism have supported us on an advisory basis.
"We then have a second show on the Friday and are running a further nine shows through to Saturday, January 14, including two shows exclusively for local primary schools."
Rehearsals have been well underway and Snow White along with Fairy Bru have also visited children at Forth Valley Royal Hospital to gift some chocolate boxes and books to the patients and families stating over the festive period.
Amber added: "A lot of the senior cast members have naturally moved on from Forefront during the Covid window and this performance will give a lot of new talent the chance to shine – and what better way to showcase a young cast of bright performers than through this particular pantomime.
"The dwarfs are always a crowd pleaser and the script, written by Alan McHugh a talented actor and comedian, plays on this beautifully.
"I'm always overwhelmed with the comments following each pantomime we do, and the cast never fail to raise the bar with their professionalism and dedication.
"We put a lot into sound and lighting to complement the performers and the outcome is always a magical experience for both performers and audiences."
The opening relaxed performance will go ahead from 2pm on January 6 with the second show at 7pm.
