Forth Valley College offer a number of partnership degree courses with four of Scotland’s leading Universities (Stirling, Heriot-Watt, Strathclyde and Napier) starting in August 2023.

This novel, innovative and integrated approach to learning offers the student the opportunity to study at the College for the first 2 years then progress for the final two years at the partner University - getting the best of both worlds from the two institutions with a dual student status.

These degrees have been designed to meet the needs of future employers by creating ‘work ready’ graduates and are supported by key industry partners.

With the UCAS deadline fast approaching on 25 Jan 2023 FVC encourage potential students to apply as soon as possible.

The degree courses on offer are:

  • BSc (Hons) Applied Biological Science in partnership with Stirling University
  • BSc (Hons) Software Development with Cyber Security in partnership with Stirling University
  • BA (Hons) Digital Media in partnership with Stirling University
  • BA (Hons) Heritage and Tourism in partnership with Stirling University
  • BA Art and Design in partnership with Stirling University
  • BA (Hons) Professional Education (Secondary) with Chemistry
  • BA (Hons) Professional Education (Secondary) with Physics
  • BEng (Hons) Chemical Engineering in partnership with University of Strathclyde
  • MEng Chemical Engineering in partnership with Heriot-Watt
  • MEng Electrical Engineering in partnership with Heriot-Watt
  • MEng Mechanical Engineering in partnership with Heriot-Watt
  • BSc (Hons) Brewing and Distilling in partnership with Heriot-Watt

We've got an Associate Student Scheme in place with Edinburgh Napier University for students on the following HND courses:

HND Electrical Engineering can progress onto the BEng (Hons) Electrical Engineering.
HND Mechanical Engineering can progress onto the BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering or BEng (Hons) Energy & Environmental Engineering.
