A CLACKS veterans support group has been given a surprise gift at the weekend to mark all its hard work.
Provost Tina Murphy presented Wee County Veterans with a commemorative bench at an unveiling ceremony on Saturday, November 6.
The bench was gifted as a nod of appreciation towards the group for all the hard work and continued support its members and volunteers continue to give in the community.
Joining the unveiling event on the day at Sauchie Resource Centre were veterans minister MSP Keith Brown, Clackmannanshire deputy lord lieutenant John Spruce as well as Gary McGrouther, who designed and made the bench at GM Welding Services Artistic Ironworks in Alloa.
Assisting with the reveal were Abaigael and Alyssa Milne.
Provost Murphy presented the bench to the veterans group on behalf of many generations who have been kept safe over the decades by those who served in the armed forces.
It is hoped Wee County Veterans, which marked its sixth anniversary earlier in September, will enjoy the gift for years to come.
