A CLACKS school has been recognised for its approach to digital technology in education.
Tillicoultry PS has received a Digital School Award, a national accolade promoting, recognising and encouraging a while-school approach to the use of technology.
Pupils and staff worked hard to achieve the award, embedding digital technology for learning.
The award was officially handed over following a recent validation visit during which the schools efforts were spoke highly of.
The process involved the entire school community and invited parents to participate in the creation of the Digital Learning and Teaching Strategy.
Kevin Scotland, acting principal teacher and digital schools lead, said: "Everyone in Team Tilly has worked so hard, and digital learning is a key part of life in the school.
"It's fantastic to be recognised, but it has been even better seeing how technology can benefit learners and is helping improve outcomes for all."
Parents looking to keep up to date with what is going on at the school are being encouraged to engage via Twitter @tillyps.
Louise Thomas, acting headteacher, added: "I could not be prouder of our full school community.
"This is a fantastic achievement and we are fully committed to further improving experiences for all our learners."
