JOB seekers in Alloa will this weekend be able to hear about the opportunities available in the area.
Jobcentre Plus in Alloa is organising its Jobs Fair this Saturday, September 18, from 9.30am until 2pm, by appointment only.
There will be a mixture of both training opportunities and six-month Kickstart placements, which are part of a government funded scheme offering 25 hours a week for 16-24 year olds with paid employment and support.
Candidates will also have the chance to meet employers from the area and apply for vacancies available.
Employers attending will include Train'd up, Kidz World Nursery, Wellbeing Scotland and Springboard, which will be discussing training opportunities.
A spokesperson for the Jobcentre in Alloa said: “We are really excited to welcome our local job seekers to the Jobs Fair this weekend and also the opportunity to showcase to employers the pipeline of talent we have in our local area.”
Those currently claiming Universal Credit and interested in attending are asked to speak to their work coach to book a space.
Attendance will be by appointment only due to social distancing requirements.
