ESSENTIAL improvement works to the overbridge on the A907 Claremont in Alloa will take place for almost two months.
Network Rail have sent out notices of the planned schedule of work which will take place from Saturday, September 18 until Friday, November 12.
Part of a wider programme of maintenance work designed to keep the rail network safe and reliable, work will include compound set-up, traffic management, masonry repairs and site demobilisation.
Works will be undertaken throughout the night on Saturdays through to Thursdays and traffic management systems such as lane and footpath closures will be in place during the works.
Due to the equipment in use, such as heavy plant and machinery, some noise is unavoidable. Network Rail have asked those working on site to work with consideration for the community.
A notice sent to those living near the overbridge states: "We understand that working by your property is far from ideal, but we are legally obliged to work on the railway at times that cause least disruption to trains."
