RESIDENTS in Alloa, Sauchie and Tullibody will be able to order meals from small businesses straight to their door as Deliveroo expands into the Wee County.
The food delivery service has launched in FK10 today (Thursday, June 17) with dozens of Clacks eateries on board.
Customers will be able to support 22 small independent businesses such as Ali's Fast Food, Syriana Restaurant, Hoggies, Mr Walayats, Peking House, Spice of Life, Tartan Tikka Tikka and Tartan Chip Shop.
Curry Central, Hatley's, King Rush, Kings Pizza, Maharajas and Delicious Grill Peri Peri have also signed up, while those with sweet tooth can indulge with orders from Toni's Bakery, Heavenly Meltz, Cheezie's Coonty Candy, Sweet Spot and Alwen Cakes.
Groceries can also be delivered from Co-op, Greens of Tillicoultry, Morrisons and Pompee Road Mini Market
Chain favourites KFC and Subway are also available for Deliveroo customers in and around Alloa.
Deliveroo are looking to fill 50 jobs by hiring a team of riders to work flexible and part-time hours between 11.30am to 11pm.
Berenice Cowan, head of UK expansion for Deliveroo, said: "At last, we've arrived in Alloa. We can't wait to bring everyone meals from independent and national favourites, and to help chefs reach new customers. Hungry foodies, here we come."
To celebrate the launch, customers are being offered discounts and deals when using the service.
New customers using the code ALLOA10 while spending £15 or more can £10 off their first order.
Selected restaurants will also be offering 25 per cent off until June 25.
