A STIRLING man who drove while drowsy from prescribed medication has been banned from the road.
Jon Earle, 36, of Abbey Road, appeared in the dock at Alloa Sheriff Court on Thursday, May 27.
He previously admitted that on November 25, 2019, at Hallpark Homeless Unit, Sauchie, he drove a car when unfit to do so through drink or drugs.
Sheriff Craig Harris told Earle that even though his position was that he had taken too much prescribed medication, he was also aware it had made him drowsy and should not be driving.
He imposed a community payback order with 54 hours of unpaid work and a fine of £360.
Earle was also banned from driving for three years.
