A MAN has been arrested and charged in connection with a theft at a Stirling newsagent.
Police Scotland said officers have executed a search warrant yesterday, Tuesday January 26, following a theft by housebreaking at Weaver Row Newsagents two days prior.
According to police, a substantial amount of property was stolen when the theft by housebreaking occurred on Sunday, January 24.
A quantity of the goods were recovered when the search warrant was executed yesterday and a 37-year-old male was arrested and charged.
He was due to appear at Stirling Sheriff Court today, Wednesday January 27.
In a social media statement, Forth Valley Police Division added: “We would like to thank the public for the information provided that led to the swift identification and apprehension of the offender.”
