EMERGENCY services raced to a Wee County home yesterday afternoon after reports of a fire at the property.
Calls from members of the public reported that a flat at Alloa’s Pine Grove was ablaze, prompting a multi-service response at around 5pm.
Police Scotland confirmed they were in attendance, and it has been confirmed there were no injuries.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called around 5.10pm on Tuesday, 26 January, 2021 following the report of a fire at a property in Pine Grove, Alloa.
"Officers attended and provided assistance to the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service at the scene."
A spokesperson for Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were alerted at 4.49pm on Tuesday, January 26 to reports of a fire within a block of flats in Alloa.
"Operations Control mobilised five appliances to the scene at Pine Grove, where firefighters extinguished a fire within a common close.
"Crews left the scene after working to make the area safe.
"There were no casualties."
