EMERGENCY services were called out to the Hillfoots following reports of a teenage girl “having fallen”.
Fire crews were sent out after being alerted to a “person in difficulty” in Menstrie at around 3pm today (Wednesday).
Two engines and specialist rope crews were dispatched to the scene near Dumyat hill.
Police were also called out to the Ochil Hill Road area of the Wee County village and both services were still in attendance an hour later.
A vehicle from the Scottish Ambulance Service was also visible on the scene.
At the time of the incident, a Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted at 3pm on Wednesday, July 25 to reports of a person in difficulty at Menstrie, Clackmannanshire.
“Operations Control mobilised two fire engines and specialist rope rescue crews to the scene, near Dumyat hill at Ochil Road, where crews remain in attendance.”
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Police in Forth Valley were called to the Ochil Hill Road area of Menstrie shortly after 3pm on Wednesday 25th July following a report of a teenage girl having fallen, and emergency services remain in attendance."
