THE DARKNESS, Example and Ash will headline Midstock Festival in Midlothian this September.
Taking place amid the backdrop of Dalkeith County Park, the annual event is among the last opportunities for live-music fans to get their summer festival fix.
This year's line up has now been announced with Example topping the bill, with support from The Darkness and Ash.
Also confirmed are some legendary DJs and dance acts for the Friday night show, including Ian Van Dahl, Mauro Picotto and 2Unlimited.
Midstock will take place on Friday, August 31, and Saturday, September 1, with an eclectic mix of bands and artists taking to the stage over the two dates.
The festival will once more be hosted by local celebrity and Forth One presenter, Arlene Stuart and festival goers can expect the usual funfair attractions, face painting, food stalls and much more.
Organisers Wullie Slight and Scott Gunn are excited about the continued popularity of the festival.
They said: "We have been encouraged by the great crowd we attract at Midstock and we constantly try and bring the best mix of music to the show that we can, allowing us to cater for every musical taste.
"We're an independent, bespoke festival which we started to provide the Lothians community with a great event on their doorsteps.
"This is still at the core of who we are and we really want to continue providing entertainment to the people of Dalkeith, and all over Edinburgh and the Lothians.
"We're really proud of the acts we have on both nights and we're sure the party vibe will kick in, from Friday night's dance acts right through to some rock and roll to bring the house down on Saturday."
