IT MAY have been the 'second stage' of the festival, but it packed quite the punch.
The appropriately-named Breakthrough Stage hosted a handful of talented bands, primed to make the step up.
Whether it is the erudite musicianship of the Davey Horne Band, the infectious anthems of TONTO and Club Beirut or the palpable energy from Dead Sea Souls or Crashkid! – this stage had it all.
Music fans would do well to keep on an eye on these lads.
